“Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob, all the remnant of the people of Israel, you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. 4 Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
Isaiah 46:3-4
In this verse today by the Prophet Isaiah, we see that God is calling out to his people. He formed us and destined our futures before we could even think about it. And because of that, God will continue to be with us until the end of ages. In this verse, it says, “I have done it, and I will continue to bear it …. I will support and rescue.”
I’m here to tell you today, don’t worry about your future but be dependent on God to support you and get you to where HE wants you. At the begging of the text Isiah is contrasting God to the Idols, Bel and Nebo. The people who worshipped these gods would always carry them around, and the idol god leads them into captivity. While the true God lead the people of Israel into salvation.
What are your gods today, are carrying them? Think about it… Are the things in life that you’re dealing with causing you to struggle and carry it? No matter what season in life we are in, God will always sustain us. Let go of those things that you have to carry because God said he would carry you until the end of the ages.
THOUGHT OF THE DAY
God is always in the position of Carrier, never being carried. He does not need us, but rather we are always in need of Him... To be carried and sustained by Him

Prayer
Dear God, I thank you. Help us to let go of those things that we have been carrying, oh God. Let us depend on you and know that you will sustain us. Lord, just lead and guide us in the way that you’d have to go. I thank you and love you. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen
