22The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. 23But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
Matthew 6:22-23
So, today, I want to ask what type of vision do you have. As Christians, everything that we see or do is supposed to be pleasing to God.
If our eyes are healthy it will be full of light, which means our eyes will Solly focus on things that are of God. When walking in the path of God, we have to have a clear vision. According to Thrive Yard, a clear vision helps you to see opportunities and possibilities. If we walk in a clear vision, it'll be easier for us to walk into the opportunities and possibilities that God has for us.
I want to stop and ask today; do you have a clear vision right now, or are you trying to get it together. Do you have goals or objectives in life, but not sure how you’ll get to them? This is where a clear vision with God comes in. It will guide you and help you figure out the actions and the steps you need to accomplish your goals.
On the other hand, in this text, we see if your eyes are bad, then your whole body is full of darkness. Now that’s deep! This could be seen as visually impaired, which means a decrease in the ability to see to a certain degree that causes problems not fixable. The devil will do whatever he can to damage your vision, especially when God has already revealed His promise to you.
If our body is full of darkness, then we can’t produce light, we can't up build God’s kingdom. So, today, I want us to refocus our vision on good things that are of God. We need that clear vision to reach our goals in life.
God literally has so much in store for His children, but it’s up to us to go into with a clear vision and open mind.
Also, be mindful of the things that we look at on our TVs, Phone’s, Social media, and just anywhere sometimes those things can fog up our vision. I know, I use say oh it’s just a song or oh it's just a picture. BUT NO, it’s deeper than that it's just another way of the devil trying to
I've attached a graphic of steps to help create a healthy vision, I hope you enjoy -tk xoxo
